Our first project progression presentation

We were asked to construct a presentation to inform listeners to what we had achieved so far. We all got together and decided via mutual consent and which section would best fit which person who would talk about each section of our planning, initial ideas and research and development throughout the project. We had researched many elements that build the basic structure of a film and each person got a very detailed sense of awareness for this element which was then used when planning and filming the production. To view analytical and detailed information on different section we all researched follow the link when mentioned bellow.

I took upon the task of talking about a Target 15 audience, quantitative target audience, qualitative target audience, sound, different types of market research and distribution and classification. These were also posts on my blog, with information and techniques I had researched to then enhance my understanding when including these elements within our production and this also helped our group.

James took upon the responsibility of researching: Lighting, Mise-en-scene, cinematography and editing methods. He then commented on these in the presentation and he has information and analysis on these sections and more on his blog.

Blaine took upon the responsibility of researching: Semiotics, representation & stereotyping as well as character building and a comparative analysis of films today.

The final member of the group Daniel, choose to research: Timing, film roles, titles and camera shots and techniques. These can also be seen on his blog.

These are not all the posts we have made to our blogs these are just a small sum of each group members posts and there are many more interesting and analytical posts upon each persons blog making their own blog personal to themselves.
To view our presentation which was constructed about 8 weeks into the course but it took time to become avalible to upload to our blogs, watch the video below.
