. : The Role of the Femme Fatale : .

A stereotypical Femme fatale gets men to fall at their feet. The term femme fatale is 'french' and stands for 'deadly women' a femme fatale lures her male victim into her every desire with her irresistible charms and seductive ways. The femme fatale is often thought of as a work of art and her ability to entrance her victims via her beauty, charm or sexual allure has been a convention that many films with a genre of film noir include because she is such an interesting character.

Because the femme fatale is such an intriguing character we wanted to include such a powerful beauty in our OTS.
Our femme fatale fits the stereotypical irresistible character and she has a victim within her grasp, his failure comes with circumstances and this is made aware in the flashback the victim has. The femme fatale has her thug like protectors hunt him down and bring him to her.
Because we only have two minutes for our production we need to make the OTS (opening title sequence) very intriguing so that the audience want to watch more.
